50 Cent dropped a hint that he has new music on the way with Dr. Dre as he wished the legendary producer a Happy 59th Birthday on Sunday.
"Happy Birthday to my boy Dre," 50 wrote alongside an old photo of him and Dre he shared to Instagram.
"We got some new heat coming," he added.
Unsurprisingly, fans loved the idea of 50 and Dre working together once again.
Back in 2003, Dre served as the executive producer on 50's seminal debut album, "Get Rich or Die Tryin'," which included the smash hits "In Da Club" and "21 Questions."
Since then, the former N.W.A rapper has also produced a number of other hit songs for 50, including 2005's "Outta Control (Remix)" with Mobb Deep and 2007's "Straight to the Bank."
"About time," one fan commented on 50's Instagram post.
Another wrote: "New music?!?! Let’s goooo!"
In other 50 Cent news, another of his former collaborators Eminem recently shared his desire to make a joint album with the "P.I.M.P." rapper.
Like Dre, Em served as a producer on "Get Rich or Die Tryin'," while he and 50 have also linked up for a number of hits over the years, including "Patiently Waiting," "You Don't Know," and "Crack a Bottle."
Last month, DJ Whoo Kid shared a phone call between himself and Em on SiriusXM’s Shade 45.
During the call, Whoo Kid asked Em if rumors that he and 50 were planning to release a joint project were true.
Though Em denied the rumors, the "Without Me" rapper said that he'd be down for such a project.
“Whatever he needs from me, I’m here," Em said. "That shit would be crazy though, an album with me and him.”
