Just over two years after the release of his debut album "The Melodic Blue," Baby Keem has dropped an accompanying short film complete with new music.

The film, which is produced by Keem, his older cousin Kendrick Lamar, and Dave Free, is available to stream on Amazon Prime.

Alongside Keem, Amandla Stenberg, Shakira Ja’nai Paye, Francis Lovehall, and Séréna Sy star in the 20-minute visual.

The film features three new songs – “Rock Me,” “Torch,” and “White Laces,” which features James Blake.

The new songs are not currently available on music streaming platforms.

In a press release, Keem said the 20-minute visual “takes you through Keem’s internal battle and leads you through fragments of memory and temptation as he navigates the depths of The Melodic Blue.”

"The Melodic Blue" was released in September 2021 through Lamar and Free's pgLang and Columbia Records.

The album peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and has sold over 1 million copies to date.

The project's lead single, "Family Ties" featuring Kendrick Lamar, won the Grammy Award for best rap performance at 64th Annual Awards in 2022.

Accepting the award, Keem said: “Nothing could prepare me for this moment tonight. I just wanna say thank you to my support system, the city of Las Vegas, my family, the women that raised me, to shape me, to become the man I am today.”
