Big Sean treated fans to a teaser of some new music during his performance at Rolling Loud over the weekend.
In a clip of the end of Sean's set shared to Instagram by a fan on Saturday, the "Blessings" rapper is seen leaving the stage while a previously unheard song plays in the background.
On the track, Sean can be heard rapping over a sample of Three 6 Mafia‘s 2005 hit “Poppin’ My Collar."
“At the end of his set at Rolling Loud, @bigsean mentioned new music dropping next week & played a snippet of a new song,” the fan captioned their Instagram post. “Love the ‘Poppin My Collar’ flip.”
Just hours after the fan posted the video, Sean then popped up in the comments to confirm that the track will be released next week.
“Not sure why the lyrics were goin in n out like that?! But anyway, next week its on!” he commented.
Big Sean recently revealed that he will be releasing his first album since 2020 sometime this year.
Last month, Rap Radar‘s Elliott Wilson posted a video of Sean performing his new song with Bryson Tiller, "Get Dis Money."
Commenting on Wilson's post, Sean wrote: "Nah its time for a new album this year fasho."
