Big Sean releases first single in 2 years, "Precision"

After a lengthy hiatus from music, Big Sean is finally back.

On Friday, the Detroit native released his first single in over two years, "Precision," via Def Jam Recordings.

"PRECISION! Out now! LFG!!" Sean wrote on Instagram alongside a snap of the single's cover art.

On the track, Sean showcases his unwavering lyrical prowess, rapping boastfully about his money and success with women over a sample of Three 6 Mafia‘s 2005 hit “Poppin’ My Collar."

"Fuck you mean? I'm the generous king for real / I fuck her to sleep then I light up the street, got her screamin' like Billie Jean for real," he raps.

"I'm from the M, I got Ms in the bank and Ms in all my streams for real / Feelin' like Phil, they'll be livin' like Carlton if I leave 'em in the will."

Sean's last single, "Hate Our Love" with Queen Naija, was released in February 2022.

His last album, "Detroit 2," dropped in 2020.

The 35-year-old recently announced that he will be releasing a new album this year. Though not confirmed, it is expected that the album will be titled "Clarity." Sean released a short film of the same name, which includes footage of him recording his forthcoming project, earlier this week.
