Cardi B has explained why her remix of Ice Spice's "Munch (Feelin' U)" was never released.

In an interview with Complex's Speedy published on Friday, the "Enough (Miami)" rapper, who had teased the remix back in 2022, said she chose not to drop the track because she didn't like how she sounded on it.

"It being on a drill beat, it’s not as easy as it look," she said. "I was like, ‘They’re gonna drag me and they’re going to drag the song bad.'”

Elsewhere in her interview with Speedy, Cardi gave her fans an update on her long-awaited sophomore studio album.

Cardi's debut album, "Invasion of Privacy," was released way back in 2018.

“My next announcement is gonna be my album. It’s not gonna be no more singles, no more freestyles. No more nothing," Cardi promised.

“We already have everything planned out. I’m telling you, the next announcement will be the album," she added. "I’m nervous, but I’m ready.”
