Chris Brown is partnering up with one of music's most-esteemed young producers for some fresh material.
In an exclusive interview with Rising Rap, Tank God, the co-producer of Post Malone and 21 Savage's 2017 smash hit "Rockstar," revealed that he has recently been in the studio working on new music with C. Breezy.
Tank did not divulge any further information about his and Brown's collaboration, but described working with the "Run It!" singer as "just natural."
"He's just an insane talent, insane," he said.
Tank, who hails from Nigeria, boasts an impressive production catalogue that features some of the biggest stars in rap music.
Among others, he's produced tracks for A$AP Rocky ("Black Tux, White Collar"), Rico Nasty ("Blow Me"), and A Boogie Wit da Hoodie ("Blunt").
His crowning jewel, however, remains "Rockstar," which topped the charts all over the world, was nominated for two Grammy Awards, and has been streamed on Spotify over 2.89 billion times – making it the platform's 10th most-streamed song of all time.
Now also working on building his career as an artist, Tank told Rising Rap he one day hopes to have a "Rockstar" of his own.
"If God has that in store for me then I'm here for it," he said. "It's a diamond record, it's hard for anyone to beat that. Who wouldn't want a hit like that?"
