Dr. Dre has confirmed that Eminem will be releasing a new album this year.

The legendary producer shared the news during an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" alongside 50 Cent and Snoop Dogg on Tuesday.

“Let me explain something to you right now, Eminem is working on his own album which is coming out this year,” Dre said.

“I actually talked to him and he told me it was okay for me to make that announcement right here on this show," he added. "So he has an album coming out, I’ve got songs on it and it’s fire."

Eminem released his last album, "Music to Be Murdered By," in January 2020.

Dre admitted that he hadn't heard the entirety of Em's new project just yet, but was hoping to do so on Wednesday.

“He holds his music close to his chest so I haven’t heard everything," Dre said of his "Forgot About Dre" collaborator. "I haven’t even heard everything complete that I’ve done."

On Tuesday, Dre was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, and Eminem were all in attendance as the 59-year-old received his star, which was fittingly placed next to Snoop's.

In a statement on the official Walk of Fame website, Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez said: "Dr. Dre's contributions to the music industry are undeniable and have left an indelible mark on popular culture."

"As a producer, rapper, and entrepreneur, Dr. Dre has continuously pushed boundaries and set new standards for excellence," she added.

Collecting the award, Dre said: “Growing up in Compton, I never imagined that I would one day be represented here among some of my childhood heroes."
