SZA fans have long been wanting her to drop her unreleased track "Joni."
Drake is no different.
SZA initially released two versions of “Joni,” which serves as a tribute to legendary singer Joni Mitchell, in 2021 via SoundCloud and Instagram.
At the time, she promised that a third, album version of the song including a guest feature would be released at a later date.
No such track ever materialized, however, and SZA has since removed the initial two versions from her online profiles.
Taking to his Instagram story on Sunday, Drake, who last year collaborated with SZA for the No. 1 hit "Slime You Out," shared a screenshot of a version of “Joni” that a fan posted to SoundCloud eight months ago.
"pls drop this,” he wrote alongside a goat emoji.
SZA won't be happy with whoever re-uploaded "Joni" to Soundcloud.
Earlier this month, the "Kill Bill" singer hit out at people who had been leaking songs from her upcoming "SOS" reissue "Lana."
"LEAKING MY MUSIC IS STEALING," she wrote on X, the platform previously known as Twitter. "THIS IS MY JOB . THIS IS MY LIFE AND MY INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY."
The 34-year-old star even threatened legal action against those responsible.
"YOU ARE A FUCKING THIEF AND I PROMISE TO PUT MAXIMUM ENERGY INTO HOLDING EVERYONE ACCOUNTABLE TO THE FULL EXTENT OF THE LAW," she said. "I AM TIRED."
