Ja Rule is marking the 25th anniversary of his debut studio album "Venni Vetti Vecci" in a big way.

Not only is the New York native currently gearing up to embark on his biggest-ever world tour, he's also in the process of recording his first album in 12 years.

"Can We Watch the Sunrise Together?" Ja told Rising Rap the album will be called.

"June 1," he said, referring to the album's planned release date, which is exactly 25 years to the day he dropped "Venni Vetti Vecci."

Ja said the project, which will be his eighth studio album, represents his "resurrection."

"The sunrise is significant, it's a new beginning, the start of the new day," he said. "And for me, that's what this is. This is the new Rule."

"I ain't coming back," he added. "This is the sequel, the second coming and it's something special."

What exactly the "new Rule" sounds like remains a secret for now, but at 47, Ja said he's in his "grown-up hip-hop" era.

"This album is going to be every bit of what Ja Rule feels and sees and is going through at 47," he said. "I'm a different man than I was 10, 20 years ago."

Ja revealed that on "Can We Watch the Sunrise Together?" fans can expect to hear him rap about everything from "relationships to politics to parenting."

"You become an artist that's been through it all, seen it all, you can talk from that perspective," he said.

As for planned features on the album, those remain under wraps.

However, both newcomers and veterans will have a chance to shine on the project, Ja said.

"I'm working with some people," he shared. "I'm not gonna name no names, because I have a certain way that I want to introduce these people to the world, or reintroduce these people to the world in some instances."

"Helping other talented artists get out there and be heard, to me that's important," he added. "To push the game forward."

Fans will get the chance to hear some of Ja's new material on his upcoming The Sunrise Tour.

Ja had only the first leg of the tour, which takes place in the United Kingdom between March 1 and March 17, has been announced.

Further European dates are set to be revealed, however.

"We're gonna start from 'Venni Vetti Vecci' and go on all the way down to 'The Last Temptation,' 'R.U.L.E.'," Ja said when asked what fans can expect from the tour.

"We're gonna do it all and then," he said. "There's some new records that I'm definitely going to do too that I think the crowd will really enjoy."

Ja said fans can also expect his shows to be "loud" and "fun."

He'll also perform will a live band, he divulged.

"I want people to understand this, if you've ever seen me in concert on tour before, you've never seen anything like this," he said. "This is me on another level."

"Pyro, floating stages, a lot of fun shit is going to be going on," he added. "I'm an adrenaline junkie, I like to jump out of planes and shit, so I'm gonna inject some of that energy into my performances so fans can get 100% of Ja Rule."
