JID treated fans to a preview of a new single during his performance at Dreamville Fest on Saturday.

In front of a capacity crowd at Dorothea Dix Park, Raleigh, the Atlanta native opened his set with some bars from an unnamed track.

"Magic wand, bitch the work in my wrist / Magic Johnson, man I’m sick with assist / Bron Bron when I jump in the six,” he rapped.

At the end of JID's verse, an unknown female rapper could then be heard spitting some lyrics, which fans on X, the platform previously known as Twitter, speculated was Anycia.

Those rumors were later confirmed by "BRB" rapper herself.

“This is not my announcement, but here goes another cool thing I did,” Anycia wrote on X alongside a video of JID performing their forthcoming collaboration. “Thank you, brother man.”

JID replied to Anycia: "See u at the Grammys Nene lol."

It's currently unclear when JID and Anycia's collaboration will be released or whether it will feature on either JID's upcoming fourth studio album, "Forever & A Day," or his upcoming collaborative album wiith Metro Boomin, "Everyday."

Both projects are set to be released some time in 2024.
