Joyner Lucas isn't happy that Kendrick Lamar's "Like That" diss just so happened to be released on the same day as his new album.

Joyner dropped his sophomore studio album, "Not Now I'm Busy," last Friday, the same day Future and Metro Boomin released their new album, "We Don't Trust You."

Lamar made a guest appearance on the song "Like That" from "We Don't Trust You" – an opportunity he used to diss both Drake and J. Cole, sending the rap world into a frenzy.

Speaking with Power 98.3's Bootleg Kev on Saturday, Lucas spoke on "Like That" being released on the same day as his latest project.

"This motherfucker," the Massachusetts native said with a smile. "This motherfucker waited til today. This motherfucker waited til today to do this shit."

"But no, I'm actually a fan, I fuck with Kendrick," he added.

"Not Now I'm Busy" is Lucas' first album since his 2020 debut, "ADHD."

Included on the project are songs with Jelly Roll ("Best For Me"), "NBA YoungBoy, ("Cut You Off"), and Conway the Machine ("Sticks & Stones").

Speaking about the album with XXL back in May of last year, Lucas described it as an "audio movie."

"It’s an experience, and when you pop it in, you feel like you’re watching a movie," he said. "I really wanted to bring that to life."
