Rap supergroup Hot Boys are getting back together.
At least that's according to Juvenile, who in an interview with TMZ published on Saturday, confirmed that a reunion is "gonna happen."
"We gotta let them simmer down a little bit," said the "Slow Motion" rapper. "But trust me though, it’s happening.”
Though Juvenile didn't explain what he meant by his comment "let them simmer down," it's likely he was referring to the recent tensions between former Hot Boys Lil Wayne and B.G.
Back in January, B.G. released his track “Gangstafied” featuring Finesse2tymes, on which he referred to Wayne as a "bitch."
B.G. later said in an Instagram live video that the diss came in the heat of the moment and that he still has love for Wayne.
Wayne appears to have moved past the diss, too,
During a recent appearance on YG’s "4HUNNID" podcast, the "A Milli" rapper said that logistics are the only thing holding back Hot Boys from being reunited.
“We’ve spoken about it a few times but, you know, they have situations. Like B.G. just coming home so he gotta figure out: can he tour? Can he travel? And things like that," Wayne explained.
B.G. was only released from prison in September after having served 12 years for firearm possession and conspiracy to obstruct justice.
“Juvie ready and Turk ready, but really we gotta see if Geezy can move around," Wayne added.
Hot Boys, consisting of Juvenile, Wayne, B.G., and Turk, were formed in New Orleans, Lousiana, in 1997.
After releasing a series of hit records and helping push Cash Money Records to the forefront of the rap industry, the group disbanded in 2001 when Juvenile, Turk, and B.G. left the record label.
