4Batz has been handed a huge compliment by Kanye West.

On Monday, Ye was in attendance as legendary singer Charlie Wilson was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Hollywood, Los Angeles.

After the event, the "Through the Wire" rapper was trailed by paparazzi and asked a series of questions, including which new artists are most exciting him at the moment.

“Any artists out there that’s impressing you right now that are coming up?” one photographer asked him.

Ye quickly replied: “4Batz.”

R&B singer 4Batz first rose to prominence back in November thanks to his "From the Block" performance of his debut single – "act i: stickerz "99."

Combining sultry vocals with trap music aesthetics, the video quickly went viral, amassing over 2.6 million views.

In December, 4Batz then gave a second "From the Block" performance, this time of his follow-up single, "act ii: date @ 8."

That video has since been viewed almost 4 million times.

Combined, the two songs have now been streamed over 45 million times on Spotify alone.

4Batz's upcoming third single "act iii: on god?" is currently available for pre-save on all major streaming platforms.

Ye isn't the first artist to give 4Batz his flowers.

Earlier this month, Timbaland shared a video of him reacting to 4Batz's second "From the Block" performance on Instagram.

“Uh oh, who dis kid? 4Batz. Dallas, y’all got one,” the superstar producer said in the video. “Think y’all got one with this one. Yo, his tone is crazy."

Timbaland went on to urge Drake to hop on a remix of the track.

“I’m telling you now, The Boy get on this, it’s outta here," he said. "It’s already outta here. This thing right here. And y’all know who The Boy is.”
