Kendrick Lamar's "good kid, m.A.A.d City" has just made history.
On Monday, the album, which was released 2012, became the first non-greatest hits rap album in history to have spent 600 weeks Billboard 200 album chart.
That's just over 11-and-a-half years.
Only 12 albums in history have spent more weeks on the Billboard 200. They include Eminem's 2005 greatest hits album "Curtain Call: The Hits," Bruno Mars' "Doo-Wops & Hooligans," and Pink Floyd's "The Dark Side of the Moon."
Released in October 2012, "good kid, m.A.A.d City" is widely regarded as one of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time.
Boasting exceptional storytelling, introspective lyricism, and masterful production, Lamar's sophomore album has sold over 3 million copies and counting in the United States alone.
