Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla have a new collaboration coming and it samples a Soulja Boy classic.
On Tuesday, both Meg and Glo took to Instagram to share a preview of their upcoming collaboration, which will be released on Friday.
In the short snippet they shared, the two rappers can be heard hyping each other up over a sample of Soulja Boy's 2010 anthem "Pretty Boy Swag."
"yall ready for our thick ass??????" Glorilla captioned her post.
Meg, who last month announced her Hot Girl Summer Tour, captioned her post: "We getting activateddddd."
Released in June 2010 as the lead single from Soulja Boy's third studio album "The DeAndre Way," "Pretty Boy Swag" was a moderate hit at the time, peaking at No. 34 on the Billboard Hot 100 and at No. 5 on Billboard's Hot Rap Songs chart.
The song has enjoyed some considerable staying power, however, much thanks to TikTok.
In 2019, the track was used by millions as part of a trend in which users would film themselves transforming into various pop culture figures.
Speaking about "Pretty Boy Swag" in an interview with Billboard in 2010, Soulja Boy explained that the song was "inspired by the females."
“‘Pretty Boy Swag’ is basically about my whole swag and how I dress,” he said, adding: "When I hit the clubs all the girls are on me like, 'Damn!'”
