Rick Ross and Drake are something of a dream team.
The two superstar rappers have linked up on numerous occasions over the years to give us a host of mammoth hits, including "Aston Martin Music," "Money in the Grave," and "Diced Pineapples."
Their best collaboration, however? "Stay Schemin'."
At least that's according to The Biggest Boss himself.
“I’ma say ‘Stay Schemin,’” Rick Ross told Adin Ross in a livestream on Wednesday when asked to recall his favorite memory of working alongside Drake.
“He came out to us; he came out in the streets," he recalled. "He came to us when he put that record together. It was one of those vibes. We had the beat. He walked right in on it as we was puttin’ it together and he didn’t wait one second, so that was most definitely magical.”
Released in 2012 on Ross' "Rich Forever" mixtape and also featuring French Montana, "Stay Schemin'" peaked at No. 58 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was named as one of the top five rap songs of the year by XXL.
It was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in 2021.
Ross isn't the only rapper who is a big fan of the song. Meek Mill is too.
During an interview with Complex’s “GOAT Talk" in November, Mill, who appeared in the song's music video, named it as his favorite ever Drake feature.
