Schoolboy has dropped the first two singles from his upcoming sixth studio album, "Blue Lips."
The Top Dawg Entertainment rapper released both "Blueslides" and "Back n Love," which features producer Devin Malik, on Tuesday.
Q also dropped the videos for the two songs on the same day.
On the jazz-infused "Blueslides," Q addresses his five-year absence from music, rapping about his personal struggles, including a battle with depression.
In one line, he also appears to reference the 2018 death of his close friend Mac Miller.
"I lost a homeboy to drugs man I ain't tryna go backwards," Q raps.
On the grimier "Back n Love," Q raps triumphantly about his return to rap the lack of competition in the game.
"Grown man, I ain't rockin' no purse / On Crip, boy, you need church," he raps.
The video switches between home video footage of Q as a youngster and the now 37-year-old smoking and dancing around a man holding a sign that reads "Blue Lips."
"Blue Lips. MarcH 1st," he wrote on Instagram alongside a teaser trailer for the album, which gave fans a sneak preview of the tracklist.
"Blue Lips" will be Q's first studio album since 2019's "Crash Talk."
