T-Pain wants to perform the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

On Friday, the "I'm Sprung" singer appeared on Shannon Sharpe and Chad Johnson's "Nightcap" show live from Las Vegas.

At one point in the show, Pain was asked by Sharpe if he'd consider doing the Halftime Show should he be asked.

"Absolutely, absolutely," he said. "Why would I not do that?"

In an Instagram post on Monday, a day after Usher's Super Bowl Halftime Show performance at Vega's Allegiant Stadium, Pain affirmed his interest in the gig.

He posted a mock-up promo photo for him headlining this year's Super Bowl, on which he wrote: "What If?"

In the caption, Pain addressed the NFL directly.

"I do got the hits," he wrote while tagging the league's official Instagram account.

Pain's musical peers and fans alike loved the idea of him performing at the Super Bowl.

"It’s Only Right! You Got The NFL Winning Song," commented DJ Nasty on Pain's post, seemingly referring to Pain's 2010 song with DJ Khaled, "All I Do Is Win."

One fan commented: "This is an absolute NEED. Where's the petition? Where do we sign???"

Since bursting onto the scene in 2005, he's has sold more than 16 million albums worldwide and had a number of huge chart hits, including "Buy U a Drank (Shawty Snappin')," "Church," and "Low," with Flo Rida.

Should he get to one day perform at the Super Bowl, he'd join an illustrious list of performers who have done so, including Michael Jackson, Prince, and The Weeknd.
