Travis Scott appears to have new music on the horizon.

In a series of cryptic Instagram stories Scott posted on Wednesday, the "Way Back" rapper seemed to suggest that he's working on some fresh material.

“I love music so fucking much," he wrote in one story.

"And for the record. We will [be] backkkkkk. I gotta kick a new gear since they think it’s play time," he wrote in another.

In one final story, Scott then wrote: "Whole cactus gang are snappers," suggesting his new work could include collaborations with some of the artists on his label, Cactus Jack Records.

The label's current acts include Sheck Wes, Don Toliver, and SoFaygo.

Who or what Scott was addressing with his comments about kicking into a "new gear" because "they think it’s play time" is unclear.

It's likely, however, that the 32-year-old star was referring to the Recording Academy.

Moments after his 2023 album "UTOPIA" missed out on the award for Best Rap Album at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards earlier this month, Scott hit out at the Academy during a performance of his song "FE!N."

“They slept on me 10 times,” he told the crowd, referring to his 10 career nominations but zero wins.
