Your Old Droog's new single "DBZ" is a truly star-studded affair.
Released on Friday, the track is produced by Madlib and features rap superstars Method Man and Denzel Curry.
"This Ukrainian gettin' billions, no Zelenskyy / All these projects, I feel like Prince," raps Droog, who was born in Ukraine, over the silky Madlib beat which samples Little Ann's "Deep Shadows."
Curry spits on the third verse: "I'm the current boss, currency what I come across / And currently, I been sharp as a knife that's on current frost."
Fans think "DBZ" is proof that real hip-hop is still alive.
"Don't ever let em tell you hip-hop is dying just because they don't know where to look for it," commented one fan under the track's YouTube posting.
Another wrote: "Your Old Droog makes the hiphop realm feel so alive! Rejoice!"
"DBZ" is a precursor to Droog's upcoming ninth studio album, which is due for release this summer.
