Jadakiss has revealed which huge Jay-Z beat he regrets passing on.
During a recent appearance on the "Clube 520" podcast, Jada was asked whether there has ever been a beat he passed on that he now wishes he didn't.
"One of the Hov joints," replied the LOX rapper before he began reciting the lyrics from Jay's 2001 anthem "U Don't Know."
"Blaze sent that," he added, referring to the track's producer, Just Blaze.
Asked why he passed on the beat, Jada explained: "Too much going on sometimes.”
Jada isn't the only rapper who passed on the "U Don't Know" beat.
During an appearance on Spotify's "Idea Generation" podcast in March of last year, Blaze revealed that Busta Rhymes and Prodigy almost ended up on the beat.
“‘U Don’t Know’ was at one point going to be Busta and Prodigy,” Blaze shared.
“A lot of people don’t know, me and P used to hang out a lot," he said. "I still don’t have a lot of rap friends, right? He was one of the few people actually to come to the house.”
